Running Training

1500 meters to 50 Miles . . . high school tryouts to national championships . . . cross-country, roads or trails . . . Atlas Coaching and Performance will prepare you for any race and any goal.

Running training with Atlas Coaching and Performance is more than just intervals and long runs.  We also emphasize stride mechanics and strength training as a means to ensuring injury-free running at any volume or intensity, and to increase your efficiency as a runner.  Our training plans incorporate core workouts to develop proper posture, resistance training to build musculoskeletal strength in the lower body, and targeted drills and stretching to ensure fluid and symmetrical movement.  We do not believe that there is one perfect stride for every runner, but we believe that each runner has her own unique perfect stride, and we aim to develop that in each of our athletes.
